When Mindy and Bobby first started dating, Mindy had a pitbull named Red that tagged along with her everywhere. One day, Bobby invited Mindy to his place for dinner. When she and Red showed up, Bobby brought out shiny new dog bowls for Red (and cooked a lobster dinner for Mindy). Mindy knew right away this was the man for her!
A love story later, Mindy and Bobby now share their lives with their dogs, Raven and Boo. One beautiful day, the two were relaxing over cocktails and started chatting about opening up a dog park and bar. They had just been to one in another city and couldn’t believe how fun it was, even without Raven and Boo to join them. That idea turned into an obsession, and five years later they are thrilled to bring Boo’s Ice House & Dog Bar to their hometown in sunny Sarasota, Florida!
To put it plainly, we want to put a smile on the face of every person and dog that walks through our doors by providing a unique, dog-friendly community destination where dogs and people can socialize in a leash-free environment.
